Three Burlington men are facing drug trafficking charges following a two-month investigation led by the Halton Regional Police Service. The investigation, which began in January 2026, looked into suspected illegal drug activity occurring across Burlington and Hamilton.
On March 18, 2026, members of the 3 District Street Crime Unit arrested the three men after searching several residences in Burlington and associated vehicles. During the searches, police seized approximately 300 grams of cocaine and 5 grams of fentanyl. Officers also recovered over $15,000 in bundled currency, along with jewelry, cellular phones, and equipment typically used for drug packaging, such as scales.
David Evans, 26, and Yahya Dhiblawe, 25, are both charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Jahlique Adamo-Armstrong, 24, faces charges that include possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and proceeds of crime.
All three men have been released from custody on undertakings and are required to appear in a Milton court at a future date. Residents who have information regarding drug activity in the community can reach out to the police or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers of Halton.
