The Augustana Students’ Association is marking the end of the school year in Camrose with a free celebration at the Bailey Theatre on Friday, April 10, 2026.
The event, called the Last Class Bash, begins at 7:00 p.m. and offers an opportunity for students from the University of Alberta Augustana Campus and the broader Camrose community to gather before the upcoming exam season. The evening will feature live musical performances by Haidee, Next Stop Otago, and Bed Rot, along with giveaways and food service.
Admission is free for all Augustana students and their escorted guests. Attendees will also have the option to purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the night. Those planning to purchase alcohol must provide photo identification.
The event will be held at the historic Bailey Theatre, located at 5041 50 St. Built in 1911, it holds the distinction of being the oldest theatre in Alberta and remains a central landmark for performing arts in the city.
The Augustana Students’ Association acts as the governing body for the approximately 1,050 students who study at the local campus. By hosting this event, the association aims to provide a space for students, roughly half of whom live on campus, to connect with the local community of about 20,000 residents before the academic year concludes.
