The So You Think You Can Drag 2026 competition is coming to the Bailey Theatre in Camrose, Alberta, on March 13, 2026. Organized by the Augustana Students’ Association, the evening is a major part of the local Pride Week celebrations.
The contest is open to both students and community members regardless of their experience level. Performers will compete for cash prizes, including $200 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third.
Tickets for the show cost $25 for the general public and $10 for students. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the live performances are set to begin at 8:00 pm.
Other events during the week include a history talk by Darrin Hagen on March 9, 2026. On the afternoon of the competition, Janis Irwin will also host a question and answer session in the community.
The event is expected to bring more people to the downtown area, which helps support local restaurants and bars. This annual tradition provides a stage for amateur talent while promoting an inclusive environment for all residents.
