Running from March 20 to March 22, 2026, the event aims to raise money for local animal welfare efforts and provide family activities for the community.
The Camrose & Area Animal Shelter Society is a non-profit, no-kill organization that has been operating in the city since November 2017. It primarily focuses on caring for lost and stray cats, while the Canine Love Dog Rescue Society works to help dogs and puppies in the nearby region.
Shoppers at the event can look through garage sale items and browse seasonal products at the Easter market. All money raised during the weekend will go toward the costs of housing, medical care, and food for animals currently in the care of the two organizations.
Both groups rely on community donations and volunteer help to stay open because they do not receive full government funding for all their costs. This joint fundraiser allows the local rescues to pool their resources while offering residents a chance to finish their holiday shopping.
