Registration is now open for the third annual Mayor and Council Charity Golf Tournament in Chestermere, Alberta, with all proceeds going to the Chestermere Regional Food Bank. The event will take place on June 12, 2026, at the Lakeside Golf Club.
The tournament is presented by Qualico Communities, a land developer with ongoing projects in the city. Residents have until June 1, 2026, to register for the event. Individual player registration is $180, while a foursome can be registered for $720.
Funds raised during the day will support the local food bank, which has been serving the community since 2006. In 2025, the organization provided assistance to 15,571 individual clients, including 9,951 children, through its various food security programs.
In addition to standard registration, the event offers several sponsorship tiers for residents to participate. Other sponsorship levels include various corporate options.
