Residents looking for new career opportunities have a chance to connect with local employers later this month when the 2026 Spring Chestermere Job Fair takes place in Chestermere.
The job fair is scheduled for April 29, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The event will be held at the Chestermere Regional Community Association, located at 201 West Chestermere Drive.
This free event is organized by Prospect Human Services in partnership with the City of Chestermere and the Chestermere Chamber of Commerce. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and speak directly with recruiters from approximately 14 participating employers, including the City of Chestermere, the Calgary Fire Department, Rocky View Schools, and several other local businesses.
The job fair arrives as the local workforce continues to grow. According to regional data, the number of employed persons in the area reached 12,190 in 2021, representing a 7.5 per cent increase compared to 2016 employment figures.
For those interested in other upcoming community activities, the city calendar also lists an Emergency Preparedness Open House for April 30, and the Spring Cinema in the Park is set to take place at John Peake Park on May 2, 2026.
