The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat is hosting a week of family activities for March Break from March 16 to March 22, 2026, in Cochrane, Ontario. The facility is offering various programs to help visitors learn about wildlife while providing entertainment for children during the school break.

Daily activities at the facility include a scavenger hunt for kids and a visitor survey raffle where guests can win a yearly pass. A special enrichment session where visitors can watch the bears interact with items in their environment will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2 pm. On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the facility is offering half-price entry for all children.

The Town of Cochrane Public Works Department has finished clearing snow from the main parking lot to make it easier for families to access the site. While the parking area is open, crews are still working on removing snow from the grounds inside the facility. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips knowing that some walking areas inside are still being cleared.

The facility will be open every day of the break from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. These activities are part of an effort to provide local families with affordable ways to spend time together while supporting polar bear care and education.
