Residents and businesses in downtown Cochrane, Ontario, will have their water service interrupted on March 11, 2026, while crews perform maintenance on local pipes. The Town of Cochrane Public Works department is performing this work to keep the community’s utility systems running reliably.
The shut off affects the area between 12th and 13th Avenues and 6th and 7th Streets. Crews expect to have the water turned off from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while they complete the infrastructure repairs.
People in the affected area may notice very low water pressure or have no water service at all during the day. The town noted that the timing is an estimate and may change depending on how quickly the construction work is finished.
