Families in Colwood, British Columbia, can visit a free interactive exhibition at the local library later this month to learn about world development and community action. The Greater Victoria Public Library is hosting the “Our Potential, Our Purpose” exhibit at its Juan de Fuca Branch from March 30 to April 2, 2026.
The four-day event is organized by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada in partnership with Global Affairs Canada. It uses hands-on displays and storytelling to help young people and families understand how different communities around the world work together to solve problems and include everyone.
This exhibit is traveling across the country from January 2026 until March 2027 to reach communities from coast to coast. The organizers previously ran a similar project that saw more than 80,000 visitors across ten provinces over three years.
The displays focus on themes like inclusion and how working together can improve lives in places like Africa and Asia. The Juan de Fuca Branch is located at 1759 Island Highway and serves the growing seaside community of approximately 22,000 residents.
