The Greater Victoria Public Library is launching a series of free youth programs in Colwood, British Columbia, to keep students engaged during the upcoming school break. From March 17 to March 28, 2026, families can visit the library for interactive sessions focused on reading, problem-solving, and technology.
The activities will take place at the Juan de Fuca Branch, which is the largest library location serving the West Shore area. This branch has been a community hub since it opened in December 1997 and is located right next to the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre.
Local children can participate in specific sessions named Family Play, TechPlay, and Wish You Were Here! These programs are designed to give parents free and local options for child care while helping kids learn about science and technology.
