Colwood, British Columbia residents are invited to sit down with Mayor Doug Kobayashi for an informal coffee gathering on March 19, 2026. The event will take place at the Royal Colwood Golf Club from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
This meeting is part of a plan to make it easier for people to talk directly with leadership at the City of Colwood about local issues. Since being elected in 2022, the mayor has focused on face-to-face interaction to help more people feel connected to what is happening at city hall.
These informal sessions were designed to provide a relaxed environment for residents to share their thoughts outside of a traditional public hearing. Details for the event were shared by the Colwood Community Association to help neighbours get involved in local discussions.
