The Senior Varsity Girls Basketball team from Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School is travelling to Sanford, Manitoba, to play in the Provincial AAA Basketball Championship. The tournament takes place from March 19 to March 21, 2026, and gives local students the chance to compete against the best teams in the province.
Known as the Dauphin Clippers, the team earned their spot in the finals after a successful season. This competition is the top event for high school basketball players in the mid-sized school category.
The Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association oversees the event. This group manages the rules and organizes the rankings for high school sports across all of Manitoba.
This championship represents the final games of the year for the senior athletes. Many families and local fans are expected to make the trip to the Sanford area to support the players as they represent their home community.
