Dawson City residents looking for a night of laughs can catch veteran Canadian comedian John Wing at the historic Palace Grand Theatre on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The show runs from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and is presented through the Dawson City events portal.
Wing brings more than 40 years of stand-up experience to the stage. He has made more than 350 television appearances, including six spots on The Tonight Show and regular turns on CBC Radio’s The Debaters.
Tickets are available through the Dawson City events portal. The performance will take place at the Palace Grand Theatre, a National Historic Site at Third and King Street originally built in 1899 during the Klondike Gold Rush. The current building is a 1962 reconstruction maintained by Parks Canada.
The Klondike Visitors Association, founded in 1952, promotes tourism and operates attractions throughout Dawson City. This comedy night adds to a busy August calendar that includes the Dawson City Honky Tonk and Discovery Day celebrations.
