The Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated the official opening of local business Mod Kitchens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in Fort Saskatchewan on April 13, 2026.
Mayor Lisa Makin led the event at the custom cabinetry business, joined by city councillors Birgit Blizzard, Gale Katchur, Arjun Randhawa, and Allan Wesley. The ceremony marked a milestone for the company, which was founded by Ken and Tiffany Bergmann in 2012.
Representing the Chamber, Executive Director Colin Fagnan and Board Member Melissa Saretsky attended the event alongside the Mod Kitchens team. The Chamber, which traces its roots back to 1899, uses such member recognition events to support local businesses and highlight economic activity in the region.
Mod Kitchens operates out of a showroom located at #116, 8818 111 St. The business has been part of the local community for over two decades, evolving from the construction work of Bergmann Custom Homes.
Looking ahead, the Chamber plans to hold its next networking mixer at the Mod Kitchens showroom on May 8, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event will be held in partnership with the Edmonton Regional Innovation Network, and tickets are available for members and guests.
