Job seekers in Fort Saskatchewan will have the opportunity to connect with dozens of employers during the Chamber Career and Hiring Expo on Friday, April 17, 2026. The free community event takes place in the hockey arena at the Dow Centennial Centre, located at 8700 84 Street.
Organized by the Fort Saskatchewan and Lamont County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the expo is open to the public from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event aims to bridge the gap between local talent and organizations. Confirmed exhibitors include the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, the Canadian Forces, Costco, and Nutrien, alongside various local businesses.
In addition to recruitment opportunities, the Chamber’s Women in Business Committee will host a special session focused on professional presentation. Attendees can participate in a Dress for Success event held throughout the afternoon to gain practical advice for the workplace.
The expo is supported by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce, the Government of Alberta, and the Government of Canada. Students from area institutions are encouraged to connect with their school staff regarding event participation.
This gathering follows a busy season for employment events in the region, building on the momentum of the Industrial Heartland Career Forum held at the same venue in March 2026. The Dow Centennial Centre, which opened in 2004 for the city’s centennial, remains a central hub for community gatherings and workforce development in the area.
