The 13th annual Tour de Guelph community cycling event is set for June 28, 2026, as organizers aim to raise $230,000 for local medical needs and community projects. This year, the funds designated for Guelph General Hospital will go toward new medical equipment and supporting further development at the hospital’s new Diagnostic Imaging Centre (Speedvale Campus).
The Rotary Club of Guelph South and the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium are organizing the signature event. It follows a successful campaign in 2025, when the community raised a record-breaking $226,500 for the hospital and local charitable programs.
The new Speedvale Campus, located at Conestoga College’s Guelph campus, officially opened to patients for medical scans on March 2, 2026. While the building construction is finished, The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital relies on community donations to pay for all the patient care equipment used at the facility.
Community members of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the ride to help reach the new fundraising goal. The money will ensure the local medical centre has the tools it needs to serve people living across the Guelph-Wellington region.
