The Hanover Public Library in Hanover, Ontario, is hosting a full week of activities for youth from March 16 to March 20, 2026. These programs provide families with a variety of hands-on workshops and entertainment options during the school break.
The week starts on March 16 with a slime lab. On March 18, entertainer Peter Mennie will perform his magic show, “AbraKIDabra!”, at the Hanover Civic Theatre.
A science workshop called “Investigate It!” will take place on March 19, led by the organization Scientists in School. The week ends on March 20 with a special craft session to celebrate the arrival of spring.
Many of these activities require registration in advance and have a small fee of $2.00 per person. The library, located at 451 10th Avenue, offers these low-cost events to help local parents find structured things for their children to do during the break.
