Mount Pearl residents can lace up their skates again this fall. The City of Mount Pearl has released the Fall 2026 public skating schedule at Glacier Arena, with sessions starting Monday, September 21, 2026.
The new lineup includes Parent & Tot Skates on Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Family Skates on Saturdays and Sundays, and Adult/Senior Noon Skates on Mondays from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. Adult Skates are open to ages 17 and up, while Family Skates welcome all ages with parents or guardians required to accompany children.
Admission is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for children and seniors aged 50 and older. Parent & Tot Skate costs $5.00 for one adult and two children, with each additional child costing $4.00.
Glacier Arena is located at 45 Olympic Drive in Mount Pearl. The full skating schedule is available on the City of Mount Pearl website or by calling Glacier Arena at (709) 748-1100.
The arena, which opened in 1993 and added a second ice surface in 2012, also serves as the home of the Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association (Mount Pearl Blades). Founded in 1975, the association provides house league and all-star hockey for youth in Mount Pearl and surrounding Southlands.
