Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, will see some mild but unsettled weather to start the week, according to Environment Canada. Temperatures this week will range from 6°C to 21°C with several periods of rain and wind.
As of 5:30 p.m. NDT on Monday, September 14, 2026, conditions were light drizzle with a temperature of 17.2°C, 95% humidity, and winds from the south-southwest gusting to 68 km/h. Visibility was reduced to 4 kilometres. Overnight, drizzle is expected to change to rain, with 10 to 20 millimetres possible and wind gusts up to 70 km/h. The low will be 16°C.
Tuesday, September 15, will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers or drizzle and a high of 19°C. Conditions will improve on Wednesday, September 16, with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 21°C. Thursday, September 17, is expected to be sunny with another high of 21°C. Temperatures will then cool to a range of 10°C to 14°C for the weekend.
These temperatures are near or slightly above the climate normals for the Avalon Peninsula, where September averages a high of 17°C and a low of 8°C. No weather alerts are currently in effect for the St. John’s and vicinity area. A low-pressure system is bringing rain and humid air from the Gulf Stream to the region, and fog may occur along south-facing shores.
