The warm spell won’t last long. By Friday, September 4, the forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of showers and a cooler high of 16°C. The shift back to unsettled weather follows what The Old Farmer’s Almanac suggests is a warmer-than-normal pattern for the start of September.
