The Historic Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound is encouraging residents to plan ahead for the upcoming 2026/27 season by offering discounted prices on its new flexible ticket packages until May 15, 2026.
The theatre, which is a 400-seat venue owned and operated by the volunteer-driven Owen Sound Little Theatre, has introduced two types of flexible passes. The theatrical package covers four upcoming productions: Come From Away, The Heiress, RYC’s Annie JR, and Next to Normal. The second option focuses on the Music at the Roxy Series, which features five Canadian music acts including Tanglefoot, Mudmen, Sultans of String, The Janzen Boys, and The Angelique Francis Band.
During the current promotional period, the theatrical flex pass is available for $123, compared to the regular price of $129. The music series pass is priced at $180, down from the regular $190. These flexible passes provide patrons with choices for performances throughout the 2026/27 season.
The 2026/27 season lineup was first presented to the public on March 7, 2026, during an event titled Opening The Curtain. While those in attendance were the first to access this early pricing, the discount remains available to the wider community for a limited time.
Beyond the new season packages, the venue continues to host events for the community, including RYC’s Shrek the Musical JR from May 22 to May 30, 2026. As a non-profit organization that has managed the theatre since 1961, the group relies on community support to continue its operations under the leadership of a team including Theatre Manager Tiffany McMillin.
