The Central Canada Hockey League has released its full schedule for the 2026-27 regular season, with 330 games across 12 teams and the first puck drop set for September 16, 2026. Hockey fans across the Ottawa Valley can now mark their calendars as the Renfrew Wolves visit the Nepean Raiders at the Nepean Sportsplex to open the season.
Each team will play 55 games in the race for the Bogart Cup, the oldest Junior A hockey trophy in Canada. League action will pause for a holiday break from December 22 through January 1, giving players and families a mid-season rest.
A highlight early in the schedule is the Bogart Cup Final rematch on September 19, when the Smiths Falls Bears travel to face the back-to-back champion Rockland Nationals. Rockland won the title in 2025 and 2026, most recently defeating Smiths Falls in the final.
For the first time, Pembroke will see a new team take the ice. The Pembroke Royals replace the Pembroke Lumber Kings following a legal dispute between the league and the former owner. The Royals will play their home opener on September 19 against Rockland.
The Annual Showcase will be held October 3 and 4 at the Nepean Sportsplex, bringing all 12 teams together for two days of games. Family Day games will take place in February.
