The Pembroke Farmers’ Market is back for the 2026 season, welcoming residents to downtown Pembroke to browse fresh produce, meats, and handmade goods. Located at the corner of Lake Street and Victoria Street, the market continues its tradition of connecting local farmers and artisans with the community.
The market operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to the City of Pembroke, visitors can access the site easily, with free parking available and direct access from the Algonquin trail. These hours remain consistent with the market’s long-standing schedule for the season, which runs from the Victoria Day long weekend through Thanksgiving weekend.
A fixture of the local economy since its re-establishment in 1992, the market operates out of a permanent building that opened in 2007. The site is managed by the Pembroke Farmers’ Market Vendors’ Association, a group dedicated to supporting local food and artisan vendors in the Ottawa Valley.
The market remains a key point of interest for local leadership. Mayor Ron Gervais, who has announced his intention to seek re-election this October, continues to support the initiative as part of the city’s focus on local services. Member of Provincial Parliament Billy Denault also serves the region, representing the interests of the community at the provincial level.
