Families in Pitt Meadows are invited to take part in the annual Easter FUNday at Harris Road Park this Sunday, April 5, 2026. The free community event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will go ahead rain or shine.
Organized by the City of Pitt Meadows Parks, Recreation & Culture department, the celebration features a self-guided egg hunt. Children can search for eight large bunny posters hidden throughout Harris Road Park, each holding a basket of eggs. Participants are asked to collect one egg per poster, and those who find at least six can trade them in for a goodie bag. Organizers note that only children need to be registered to receive a goodie bag, and adults do not require a ticket. Participants must bring their own basket or bag for the egg hunt, as none will be provided.
To help manage attendance, the city has split the event into three 90-minute time slots: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. While pre-registration was available at the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre until April 4, officials indicate that limited tickets may be available on-site for those who did not register in advance.
Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather, as all activities will be held outdoors. Those planning to drive to the park, located at 12474 Lougheed Highway, should be aware that parking is limited.
