Residents of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, can look forward to a new lineup of summer activities as the City of Pitt Meadows prepares to open registration for its 2026 summer programs. Starting May 26, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., community members can sign up for a variety of offerings, including sports, arts and culture workshops, and summer camps, all of which will run through July and August.
Those interested in reviewing the options before registration begins can pick up a printed copy of the program guide starting Thursday, May 7, at the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre customer service desk located at 12027 Harris Road. The guide features several new initiatives, including the themed Pitt Troopers Summer Day Camps. To support inclusivity, the city is also offering one-to-one support staff for children with varying abilities between the ages of 6 and 11 for the Pitt Troopers program, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration can be completed online at pittfitandfun.ca, by phone at 604-465-2470, or in person at the recreation centre. For families interested in swimming lessons, please note that registration for those specific programs opens on May 27, 2026.
To ensure programs remain accessible to all residents, the city offers a Financial Access Program. This initiative provides qualifying residents with 50 percent off one and three-month passes, as well as 50 percent off one registered program per person each season, up to a maximum of $50.
