Quispamsis residents can enjoy a free evening of live music when the Music in the Park series returns on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, with a performance by local country rock duo Rockn’Roll Cowgirl. The show runs from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Arts & Culture Park on Landing Court, and everyone is welcome to bring a lawn chair and take in the concert.
Rockn’Roll Cowgirl, a duo from southern New Brunswick, blends country and rock sounds at venues around the province. The group is a registered artist with MusicMusiqueNB, the province’s music industry association. Their performance is the latest instalment in the town’s summer Music in the Park series, which offers free concerts on Tuesday nights through July and August.
The event is listed on the town’s public events calendar with support from event partner Hon. Aaron Kennedy, MLA for Quispamsis and Minister of Local Government. If rain forces a change of plans, the concert will move indoors to the McCluskey Brothers Conference Centre at the qplex, starting at the same time.
The free concert is one of several outdoor activities the town is offering this summer. Other events include Movies in the Park and Movement in the Park yoga sessions, all designed to bring people together at the Arts & Culture Park. The park, which opened in 2006 beside Town Hall, features the open-air George S. Miller Stage, along with washrooms, accessible facilities, picnic tables, benches, WiFi, and parking.
This summer’s programming comes as Quispamsis begins a new chapter under Mayor Mary Schryer, who was acclaimed in the May 11, 2026 municipal election after former mayor Libby O’Hara stepped down. With the town’s population now estimated at over 20,000, events like Music in the Park continue to provide accessible entertainment for the growing community.
