The Kennebecasis Valley Food Basket is hosting a four-week Introduction to Line Dance series at the Qplex in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, starting on Wednesdays in April 2026. This charity fundraiser invites residents of all skill levels to learn how to dance while raising money to help local neighbours get the food they need.
The cost to participate in the dance series is $50 per person. All of the money collected from the event will go directly toward the organization’s work to provide food to families in the community.
The food bank has been serving the Quispamsis and Rothesay areas since 1985 and is currently working on growing its facility. On February 3, 2026, the provincial government gave the group $370,000 to help pay for building renovations and a larger space to keep up with more people asking for assistance.
