Quispamsis residents can head back to the 97.3 The Wave Pool starting Saturday, June 13 at noon, as the summer season kicks off at the qplex in Quispamsis, New Brunswick.
The pool will be open from noon to 7 p.m. through June 28, then expand its hours to 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from June 29 to September 4. It is the only public outdoor pool between Hampton and St. Stephen.
The facility includes three pools in one: a leisure pool with two waterslides and spray features, a tot pool for young swimmers, and a junior Olympic pool with six lanes and starter blocks. Aquacise classes start July 2, and swimming lessons for ages 2 through 19 run all summer.
Residents must create an account on the town’s PerfectMind booking system to register for daily swims. Pool memberships are available for $222 for a family of four, $88 for individuals, and $68 for seniors 60 and older, with prices including HST and proof of residency required.
The 97.3 The Wave Pool is part of the qplex, a LEED Gold-certified recreation centre that opened in 2011 at a cost of $24.5 million. The town’s 2026 summer pool schedule is now online.
