Raymond families can pick up free clothing, toys, and household items at the Raymond Ice Arena on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The Clothing and Toy Fest is hosted by Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Southern Alberta, with support from the Town of Raymond and the County of Warner.
Donations of clean, gently used clothing, toys, and household items are being accepted at the Ice Arena on August 19 and 20. Volunteers are still needed to help with donation drop-offs, the event itself, and cleanup afterward.
FCSS is an 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities, designed to deliver preventive social services. The Raymond event is one of many initiatives aimed at supporting community well-being as the town continues to grow. Raymond’s population reached about 4,600 in 2025, a 14.18% increase over five years, one of the highest growth rates in Alberta.
The Raymond Ice Arena, a 27,500-square-foot facility originally constructed in 1967, serves as a central hub for recreation and community events. Its use for the Clothing and Toy Fest highlights its role beyond sports, offering space for programs that directly benefit residents.
