St. Paul families can enjoy a free afternoon of summer fun at a block party hosted by St. Paul Regional FCSS on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Lagasse Park’s splash pad.
The event is open to everyone and offers a no-cost way for community members to connect and make the most of the warm weather. FCSS has organized the gathering to provide accessible recreation as summer draws to a close.
Lagasse Park, located along Lakeshore Drive, is St. Paul’s largest green space. Along with the splash pad, it features two playgrounds, an outdoor fitness centre, a basketball court, gazebos, and walking trails, making it a natural spot for a family-friendly event.
St. Paul Regional FCSS is part of a provincial-municipal partnership that funds preventive social programs across Alberta. The organization also houses the Lakeland Family Resource Network, which supports families with children up to age 18. This block party continues FCSS’s recent community efforts, following a similar event in Elk Point on July 17.
Residents can find more details on the Town of St. Paul’s event calendar.
