Girls at Steinbach Regional Secondary School in Steinbach, Manitoba, can now prepare for the upcoming softball season. The school is holding tryouts for its girls team on March 16 and March 19, 2026, to get ready for spring games.
These tryouts are open to all students from grade 9 through grade 12. The sessions will run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with the first night held in the Gold Gym and the second night in the Black Gym.
Coaches Mrs. Robak, Ms. Allan, and Ms. DeGraeve are organizing the sessions and encourage interested students to attend. A third tryout date is also available on March 26, 2026, if the coaching staff needs more time to look at players.
As the largest high school in the province, the school competes in the highest division of the Manitoba High School Athletic Association. The tryouts determine the final team rosters and help families plan for practice and travel schedules during the spring months.
