Steinbach RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a woman wanted on forgery and theft charges.
Police posted a wanted notice for 40-year-old Amanda Reimer on May 27, 2026, asking anyone with information on her location to come forward. Reimer is described as five-foot-five, approximately 165 pounds, with blue eyes.
The Steinbach RCMP asks anyone who knows where she might be to call the detachment at 204-326-1234. Police did not release more details about the charges or when they were laid.
This is the second public appeal from Steinbach RCMP in a week. On May 20, 2026, police asked for help finding 36-year-old Valentin Klassen, who was wanted on unendorsed warrants.
Property crime has been a focus in the area. In January 2026, the Steinbach RCMP responded to six commercial break-and-enter and vehicle theft complaints on Main Street, Reimer Avenue, and Stone Bridge Crossing on a single day. The Manitoba government has also provided funding for surveillance equipment to help fight theft in the region.
