The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has opened registration for the ninth annual Steinbach Burger Days, giving local restaurants a chance to take part in the 10-day burger festival this October.
Registration started July 21 and the registration and payment deadline is August 10, 2026. The event itself runs October 1 through 10, inviting restaurants in Steinbach and the surrounding area to serve special burgers and compete for top honors in three categories: Best Tasting Burger, Most Creative Burger, and Best Presentation.
Restaurants can register through the 2026 Steinbach Burger Days registration page. The fee is $300 plus GST for Chamber members and $450 plus GST for future members. The deadline for burger descriptions and photos is August 20.
The event has grown into a major community tradition. Last year, 14 restaurants and one brewery sold more than 7,500 burgers, generating over $150,000 in sales. The Chamber moved Burger Days from September to October in 2025, a change that proved popular by avoiding the back-to-school rush.
Once registration closes, the public will get to enjoy the creative offerings and vote for their favourites across the three categories. The Chamber expects another strong year as Steinbach’s restaurant scene continues to embrace the friendly competition.
