Students at Steinbach Regional Secondary School in Steinbach, Manitoba, can now sign up for the 2026 girls softball season as tryouts begin later this month. All female students from grade 9 to grade 12 are invited to participate in the team selection process.
The first two tryout sessions are set for March 16, 2026, and March 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. inside the school gyms. A third session is also held on March 26, 2026, if the coaches require more time to make their final choices for the roster.
The team competes in the highest provincial tier of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association. These tryouts are important for families to plan for the upcoming spring as they decide the practice and travel times for the players.
