The Southeast Event Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba, is hosting a new tasting event on April 24, 2026, to showcase regional drinks and raise money for local sports history. The event, called The Southeast Pour, will bring together 30 different vendors to share wine, beer, whiskey, and cocktails with the community.
The gathering will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. inside the facility’s forum and bistro spaces. Organizers designed the evening to provide a social setting where residents can sample various local flavours while supporting a community cause.
Tickets for the event are available for $65 plus taxes and fees. From each ticket sold, $10 will be donated to Steinbach Sports Heritage to help the group continue its work in the region.
Steinbach Sports Heritage is an organization responsible for documenting and preserving the history of local athletes and teams. The group is currently building a database and creating physical displays for sports artifacts that will be housed directly within the Southeast Event Centre.
This event is one of several social programs held at the multi-purpose building this spring. Two days prior to this tasting, the venue is also hosting a separate wine pairing event with Jones & Co.
