The Steinbach Arts Council youth theatre program is preparing for its final show of the season in Steinbach, Manitoba. The performance, an action comedy called Uncoordinated Battles, is set for April 14, 2026, at 7 p.m. inside the SRSS Theatre.
The Backyard Theatre Company will showcase actors from the council’s intermediate and advanced theatre programs. Local writer and director Jeremy Plett created the play, while Akecia Peters managed the production side of the performance.
The evening will also feature several short skits performed by students from the Dramatic Discovery classes. The youth theatre program is supported by local business Nature’s Farm to help students develop their skills on stage.
Community members can purchase tickets for $10 starting March 17, 2026. These tickets will be available at the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre following a private sale period for the families of the performers.
The show highlights the teamwork of the young performers throughout the 2025–2026 season. It offers residents a chance to support local youth talent in a professional theatre setting.
