Canadian country artist Owen Riegling is set to be the main performer on Friday, June 19, 2026. The Summer in the City Organizing Committee says the concert will take place on the festival’s main stage during the opening night.
The event will close off multiple blocks of the downtown area to host a midway, crafters, and local food vendors. According to Travel Manitoba, the festival is a popular attraction that draws people from across the southeast part of the province.
The Steinbach Arts Council and the City of Steinbach are working together to coordinate the event. Local residents can participate by signing up as volunteers or vendors for the weekend.
