The Stratford & District Agricultural Society is holding its special Farm Fresh Fall Fair Farmers’ Market on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the North Parking Lot of the Rotary Complex. This market is part of the 185th Stratford Fall Fair, and unlike the year-round indoor market at the Stratford Agriplex, this edition will be outdoors only with no indoor market component.
The Stratford & District Agricultural Society has operated the Stratford Farmers’ Market since 1855, making it one of the oldest continuously operating farmers’ markets in Ontario. The market normally runs every Saturday year-round from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with approximately 36 vendors offering fresh produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, and artisan crafts. The special Fall Fair market will have different hours and location, so residents should plan accordingly.
The 185th Stratford Fall Fair runs from September 24-27, 2026, at the Stratford Rotary Complex with free admission. The fair features midway rides, livestock shows, 4-H competitions, and family activities. The Farmers’ Market on September 26 provides an opportunity for fairgoers to purchase local farm products while visiting the fair.
Residents who regularly shop at the indoor market should note that the special market will not include the indoor vendors. The outdoor market will be held in the North Parking Lot of the Rotary Complex, which is located at 353-357 McCarthy Road in Stratford. Parking for the event is available at the complex.
