The Pas Minor Hockey Association is inviting local families to attend its upcoming Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the A&W restaurant, located at 1226 Gordon Avenue in The Pas, Manitoba.
This event offers an opportunity for parents with children in the U7 through U18 and female hockey programs to review the past season, learn about plans for the 2026-2027 season, and take part in organizational decisions. The association, which has served the region since 1934, recently concluded a successful year that saw the U15 A team and the U13 female team secure provincial championships.
A primary focus of this year’s meeting is the election of several executive roles. Members will be voting to fill positions including Vice President, Treasurer, Referee in Chief, Tournament Coordinator, Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator, Registrar, Coach Coordinator, and Player Advocate. Additionally, the association is in immediate need of candidates for the President and Equipment Manager positions.
The meeting was originally planned for May 7, but was moved to May 13 to better accommodate organizational needs. The association asks that any community members interested in the future of local youth hockey participate in this session to help shape the upcoming season.
