The Pas RCMP are asking for public help after a 12-year-old girl was sprayed with bear mace on May 10, 2026, near the Kelsey Recreation and Wellness Centre in The Pas, Manitoba.
The girl was out with friends when the incident occurred. Bystanders at the scene provided initial treatment before the girl was taken to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services. She is reported to be in stable condition, and no other injuries were reported.
The individuals responsible for the attack fled the area on foot and have not been located. The RCMP are urging anyone who was in the vicinity that evening or who has information about the suspects to come forward to assist with the investigation.
