Families in Tillsonburg, Ontario, can now register their children for four weeks of summer programming at the Annandale National Historic Site and Museum. The summer camp, designed for children ages 7-12, offers a mix of educational and recreational activities held at the historic 1880s mansion.
The program features four themed weeks throughout July and August 2026. The schedule includes Canada Welcomes the World from July 20 to 24, Life on the Farm from July 27 to 31, Adventure Unlimited from August 17 to 21, and Ticket to Ride: Planes, Trains and Automobiles from August 24 to 28.
Each week of camp costs $166.25, with taxes included. The regular camp day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To accommodate parents, the site offers early drop-off starting at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:00 p.m.
Registration is available through the Connect2Rec online portal. Parents may also register by calling the museum staff at 519-842-2294.
The camp takes place at the mansion built in the 1880s by Edwin Delevan Tillson, the town’s first mayor and son of founder George Tillson. The site was designated as a National Historic Site in 1997, known for its unique interior decor that reflects the 19th-century Aesthetic Movement. Today, the location serves as a community museum housing more than 18,000 artifacts related to the history of Tillsonburg.
