The Country Mamas Show and Sale comes to the Westlock and District Community Hall on Saturday, September 26, 2026, bringing handcrafted goods and small businesses from across the region under one roof. The event is open to everyone and is one of the few public ticketed events on the hall’s September calendar.
Organized by Country Mamas Shows, the marketplace has been running in Whitecourt, Westlock, Edson, and Barrhead since 2016. The shows aim to have about 65 percent unique handmade products, giving local artisans a chance to connect with shoppers looking for something different from big-box retail.
The Westlock and District Community Hall, located at 10711-104 Avenue, offers plenty of space for vendors and visitors. The hall is run by the Westlock and District Community Hall Society and includes the Legion Room, which is over 8,000 square feet and the largest event space in the area.
Past Country Mamas Shows have featured vendors like Straight Arrow Farms from Barrhead County, known for artisan goat’s milk soap, wood wick candles, and wool dryer balls. Entrepreneurs from Mayerthorpe, Cherhill, and other nearby communities are also regulars at these events.
