Forecasters are calling for flurries and periods of light snow to develop Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by gusty northeast winds reaching up to 40 km/h. Residents should prepare for a brief cold snap, with overnight temperatures expected to drop to -12 C by Thursday night.
A significant warming trend is expected to follow the cold spell. Temperatures are forecast to climb heading into the weekend, with highs reaching 17 C by Sunday.
