On March 9, 2026, the Career Assistance Network launched a free two-week bootcamp at its office in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This program is meant to help community members gain the skills they need for personal growth or to find a new job.
The training sessions are held at 5014 48th Avenue and focus on practical steps to help people enter the workforce. Residents who join the program can get help with writing resumes and learning how to search for local employment opportunities.
These services are often provided at no cost to the public through support from the Government of Alberta. In the past, the provincial government has invested in these programs to help residents, including local youth, prepare for their careers.
