The Rural Municipality of Hanover Council has scheduled two public meetings in March 2026 to discuss requests for changes to how land is used in the community. These hearings, taking place in Hanover, Manitoba, give local residents a chance to share their opinions on specific property developments before officials make any final decisions.
On March 11, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the council will meet to discuss two requests for exceptions to local building rules submitted by Sunset Lane Farm Inc. These types of requests are often made when a property owner wants to build something that does not strictly follow the standard rules for that specific area.
A second meeting is set for March 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to review requests from Daniel Loewen. This session will cover a request for special permission to use land in a specific way, as well as an additional request to change how certain property rules are applied to his land.
Both of these meetings will be held at the municipal office located at 28 Westland Drive. These hearings are a regular part of how the local government manages growth and ensures that neighbors have a say in how the community is being developed.
