The Cornwall Underwater Hockey Club is hosting a free try-it session for the public on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Cornwall, Ontario. The event takes place at the Cornwall Aquatic Centre from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
The session is open to people of all ages and requires no previous experience to participate. The club will provide all the necessary equipment for residents who want to get in the water and learn about the sport at no cost.
This initiative follows the club’s recent appearance at a local Youth Engagement Fair on March 04, 2026. Club members are working to introduce the sport to more people in the community and recruit new players through these outreach efforts.
While standard club practices are traditionally held on Wednesday nights, this Monday session is specifically for newcomers. The sport has been a long-standing activity in the region and operates out of the municipal pool facility located at 100 Water Street East.
