The mixed curling team from Assumption College School in Brantford, Ontario, finished their season this week after competing at a regional tournament. The student athletes represented their school during the regional event held the week of March 5, 2026.
The team began the competition with a strong performance, winning their first game on the ice. However, the group was eventually knocked out of the tournament after facing two losses in their following matches.
Following the event, the Assumption College School administration officially congratulated the players for their hard work. School officials noted that the team fought hard in every match and represented the school well throughout the competition.
The tournament was part of the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association series, which brings together top high school teams from across the region. Participating in these games gives local students the opportunity to gain experience playing in high-level sports against other schools.
