The volunteer group, known as the Friends of Guindon Park Trail-keepers Association, will work alongside city staff to care for the woods and paths. Guindon Park is the largest natural area in the city and is used daily for hiking, cycling, and water sports.
This official agreement provides a plan for the non-profit group to assist with regular maintenance and community outreach. By involving residents directly, the city hopes to ensure the trails remain safe and well-kept for winter sports and summer activities.
