The Brandon University School of Music is preparing for its premier annual event as the Brandon University Jazz Festival returns to Brandon from March 12 to March 14, 2026. The festival is a cornerstone of the regional music calendar, drawing student musicians and world-class artists to the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium.
The School of Music is widely recognized for its community outreach across Western Manitoba, often collaborating with rural organizations to increase access to high-quality arts. Local groups such as the Carberry Plains Arts Council and Carberry and Area Parks & Recreation have a long history of partnering with the university to host student performances for local residents.
While reports had circulated regarding a potential visit to Carberry by the Brandon University Chorale on March 13, the performance has not been officially confirmed.
