Grade 11 and 12 students at Spruce Grove Composite High School in Spruce Grove, Alberta, are meeting with local employers today, March 10, 2026, to explore future job opportunities. The career fair is taking place in the school’s large gym to help graduating students learn about different work paths before they finish high school.

The event is presented by the Acheson Business Association and Community Futures. It is running from 8:30 am until 11:10 am, giving students a chance to talk directly with people from businesses in the local region.

Organizers want to show students what kinds of jobs are available right in their own community and the nearby Acheson industrial area. By meeting local employers now, students can get a head start on finding work or deciding what they want to do after they graduate.

The school often holds events like this to help senior students prepare for life after graduation. This specific fair is designed to help students build connections with the local workforce and see what possibilities are out there.
